So tonight it was all rainy from the Tropical Storm that is around so I decided to use up our potatoes and make 15 minute chili for dinner. So as I started cooking it realized I was out of Cumin...UGH! Then I read the next ingredient, Chili Powder, OUT UGH! lol Then the next, Salsa, only have my super good one that I ONLY like to use with chips and salsa and not to cook with.
So I told Tye to put his shoes on and we were out the door. Oh, did I mention that I had already started it, so yes I did a big no no, and left it simmering on the stove (this chili is better if you let it simmer for 30+ minutes anyway)?! lol
So we got to Walmart and we found the ingredients we needed and got up to the express check out line and there was a guy in front of us with 10 items. Tye first tried to put the spices up with his stuff, but I had him take them down. Then Tye says to the cashier, "Hurry up, I don't want my dinner to burn!" ROFL They both laughed and I had to explain that I had left the dinner simmering on the stove on low. The cashier said, "I have never had someone say that to me before and that is funny!"
So I hope that gives you all a good laugh for tonight.

I hate that when you realize you don't have the ingredients you need! I have done that a time or two.
That is funny!!! I have left something on the stove before....and bad news....it burned so badly I had to toss my pan in the trash. lol!!!
