Family Circle

This weekend when I took Tye to see Oma and Opa, Oma gave me a Family Circle cartoon that was in this week's paper.

Hmmmm, does it look like something Tye needs??? I certainly think so! I thought it was hilarious that it happened this past week after he had the head crash and he also scraped his arm on Thursday while at school. I swear this kid DOES need a bubble wrap suit. Maybe instead of the bubble boy he can be the bubble suit boy. I am just grateful I have not yet had to make an emergency room visit. (Keeping my fingers crossed and a prayer in my heart!)

Church Children's Primary Program "I am a Child of God"

Today we had the Primary Children's Program at church today. I was getting so worried. Last Sunday we practiced during church and they weren't singing very loud and weren't coming up for their parts and I was having to direct the music and the kids in their speaking parts. I was not going to be able to do that today because I sit in the audience (the first row) so luckily the teachers and other leaders helped out with that part! THANK YOU GUYS!

Then Friday night we had our "dress rehersal". Some of the kids were being so disrespectful (especially in one particular song), making rude gestures (not flipping someone off or anything, but I will explain more later). They weren't standing up when they were supposed to and they were sitting down when they weren't supposed to. Again not singing. I was really concerned, I thought oh dear, how are we going to pull this off???

So Saturday while I was at worked I would think and think and think about what I should do about it. I was getting really worried! (Did I mention that yet??? lol) So I started to make a list of the kids I needed to have a little chit chat with, some I just needed to give reminders to and all of them I needed to remind a couple of things (like don't sit down until I direct you to, or sing the first verse ending fast and the second slow, etc). Not to mention I did a whole lot of praying yesterday and today that they would sing well, pay attention to me and pull it off. Prayer is powerful I tell you!

I had a chit chat with one of the boys who during the two practices (this is what I was talking about earlier) instead of doing the sign language on the chorus (which we have been practicing with all the kids for MONTHS and I have spent a ton of time on learning and teaching them), he not only was messing around, not singing, but he would make the "retard" signal, you know what I'm talking about, flapping your hand on your chest. Yeah, I was NOT happy. So I talked to him today (I almost thought I wasn't going to get a chance becasue he came in at the last minute). I basically told him I knew he didn't like doing the sign language and that was fine, but then just stand there and sing, don't make naughty gestures. I told him it was disrespectful to me and to people that it is the only way they have to speak. I think he realized it and said, "Yes ma'am. I'm sorry." I said, "okay, just sing loud for me, okay?" And he again said, "yes ma'am." WHEW! The biggest thing about that is that he is NOT like that at all (as you can see from the apology), his parents really stress being respectful and being quite and listening. So for him to do it to begin with was a real surprise. I am so grateful I was able to talk to him so we could get on the same page.

Anywhoooooo, Tye did his normal silliness when the boys were passing the bread and water. As they walked back to the front he yells out (luckily not WAY loud), "Train, chugga, chugga, choo, choo. Chugga chugga choo choo" over and over. I kept looking at him, said his name and asked him to be quiet. Even the bishopric (the men in charge of our congregation for those that don't know) chuckled and then one of them nicely got him to be quiet. I admit it is hilarious, he has done it several times before, and the first time I practically laughed out loud, while trying to get him to quiet down, but it still isn't appropriate.
So to the actual program....the kids did WONDERFUL! I was so proud of them! I swear it is like once you turn on the "spotlight" they are ready to shine. They remember all the words. They sang loud and clearly. They remembered all the things I had reminded them before. There were a few mess ups, but they were so minor it was a non-issue, besides we can't be perfect all the time, right?! The kids stepped up and helped out when other people were missing. They said their parts without yelling in the microphone. Of course the sunbeams (the youngest kids, 4 year olds, which is what Tye is), were sooooo cute and everyone chuckled each time they got done. And that boy didn't give me a bit of trouble. What a terrific program and I got so many compliments. Even the Bishop said, "if you didn't feel the spirit today from these sweet children, then there is something you need to figure out in your life and start reading the scriptures more often." Sweet boldness! So true, they almost made me cry with the last song. They were so good with their sign language and although no one said it I am sure the congregation was pretty impressed with it.

"Yeah Baby!", My crazy baby!

Yesterday morning while I was getting breakfast ready for Tye and I, he asked what we were having for breakfast. I told him yogurt and he says to me "yeah baby!" just like Austin Powers. I laughed so hard and then asked him, "where di d you learn that?" (See, we have not watched Austin Powers, I have never even seen it myself, much less let him watch it. And I never intend on watching it! lol I think it is a stupid show...sorry if you liked it...but I do.) He told me, "School." So I guess one of his classmates HAS seen it and said it a time or two for him to pick it up and sound JUST like him. It was very humorous even if I don't necessarily like the show.

I told his teacher about it and she laughed and told me "he is so funny. He is always making us laugh." She asked me if she could bring in a camcorder and record him being silly. She said she talks about him all the time at home and both her husband and daughter want to see her "little man". That is what she calls him and she told me he should be on America's Got Talent. I think he would be too shy to get up there and do it (everyone in the audience would have to cover their eyes for him to do something like that! lol)

Tomorrow is our Primary program at church and I can hardly wait to see what crazy stunts he does there. One time he was pretending he was driving (turning the steering wheel and all). When Kevin asked him later if he was driving a car he told Kevin, "no, I was driving a boat!" Hello, we don't even own a boat, and he has never even been on a boat! Last night he was paddling over the edge of the stand and said to me, "I'm rowing my boat!" Oh boy. I think I have a class clown on my hands. I am just glad he is doing well in school and isn't getting in trouble with his clowning around!

Tye's Big Crash 091808

On Thursday Kevin and I had gone swimming after we dropped Tye off at Pre-K. As soon as we got home I got in the shower. While I was in the shower Tye's school called and said he had fallen and hit his head and thought we should come get him. Kevin said he would go, but I said, No I would go get him since I knew Kevin would end up coming home with our child but not one lick of information.

So as soon as I arrived he was laying down on some beanbags they have in their classroom. His teacher was sitting right there with him holding ice on his head. As soon as Tye saw me he started crying and I picked him up. He clung to my neck but quit crying. I looked at his head and was shocked to see this huge monster growing out of it! I swear it was a horn!! lol The bump was protruding close to an inch and I am not even kidding. His teacher said that it had even gone down! YIKES! Poor baby! So of course I asked what happened. She said they were all playing on the playground and I guess around the edge there is a board and he didn't pick his feet up and tripped on the board and landed head first on the concrete. She said he didn't even put his hands down to catch himself, he did it with his head instead. So we filled out the incident report. (His second since starting school! Not good! The last one he ran right into the wall outside.) Geez, I am surprised we have not been to the ER a million times with this kid already! He just has a hard head is all I have to say. One of the little girls in his class kept coming over to check on him. In the few minutes I was there she came over about 5 times and told him and I "I drew another picture for you!" It was so cute (and she is so cute...maybe I can get them to go for an arranged marriage! lol just kidding!)

Once I got him home I put some more ice on his head and then thought, I should take some pictures of this. So I did and here they are. Unfortunately, you cannot even see how far this bump stuck out from his head. Just take my word for it, it was far! Luckily, by the end of the day most of the swelling was gone. He did not have any symptoms of a concussion so we just tried to keep him laying down (almost impossible with an active 4 year old) and putting ice on it from time to time. We didn't want him to have a brain freeze! hehehe

The next day he was totally fine except the pretty red scratch on his head. When I took him to school all the girls came up and asked him "are you okay Tye man?" (That's what they call him at school.) His teachers tried to look at it and give him a hug and kiss and he was having no part of it. That's good....no kissing anyone except your mamma until you are at least 25! lol (Oh wait, except that girl that I have now arranged for you to marry. LOL!!) So he seems back to his old self and all is well. I am sure in a few days the scratch will be gone too and he will no longer remember any of it! Thank goodness!

Biggest Loser and thoughts about my journey

WOOHOO The Biggest Loser is back! I love this show. It continues to inspire me on my journey. I know I have to do it. I saw those pictures that the doctor put up of all that fat in the contestants bodies and I thought, "man that is what I looked and still look like inside. YUCK!" I know that the fat inside is reducing, I can see and feel it, but I still have a LONG way to go.

I do this each season, I try to find a female that their starting weight is the same as mine was when I started this journey. So the one that was the closest to what I weighed when I started is a girl named Amy (she is on the red team, not the other one I think the other Amy is on the purple team). Anyway, I try to keep in front of them. I know they are doing this full throttle, but it keeps my competitive spirit up. I also know I am much lower than them right now so it isn't really fair, but at the same time I feel like it is. Okay, so I am whacked! lol But it make sense to me! lol

I also looked at Stacey, the girl that got voted off this week and she is now at 175 pounds, which is almost exactly where I am right now (5 pounds difference). And that frustrates me. lol I know it shouldn't and someone put it as the carnival mirror effect. I know everyone's body type is different. My problem is I am so short and I carry almost all of my weight in my hips, stomach and bootie. So I look WAY bigger than Stacey does in that area and wonder how in the heck I weigh as much as she does and don't look as good as she does! lol It is annoying, but I just have to see how my pants are feeling and not worry about it.

In fact, speaking of pants, I tried to wear my black dress pants to work on Tuesday and I had to change my outfit because they were just TOOOO big! I really could not keep them up or that they would even look even close to being presentable! It was a great feeling. I just have to keep going and eventually I will make it to where I want to be.

I am glad Biggest Loser is back! I love the stories of how and why they got there and it makes me think and reflect of how and why I got to where I am. I think it is important. I am glad that I probably am not big enough to be on the show anymore. But I am very glad that they do the show to help others be inspired to change their lives.

I hope that I am and will be an inspiration to people. If I can do it you can do it. But you have to be ready, really ready, mind and body and commitment to do it. I know for years I have said "I want to lose weight", but I wasn't ready to do what it takes to make it happen. It is so easy to say you want to do it, but an ENTIRELY different thing to be ready to do it and actually DO IT. It is so easy to take some "magic pill or drink some shake", kindof like those get rich schemes, except this one is the "get skinny scheme". They don't work permanently. The only one that does is the good old fashioned one of eating healthy and exercising. Calories in vs. calories out. That's what they teach on Biggest Loser, that's what they teach on my favorite weight loss website http://www.sparkpeople.com, and it's what most doctors teach. The only people touting the drink or pill are those that want you to buy it so they make the money. They know if they can get you do it this time, they can get you to do something else when you gain it back (and some). They do not teach you how to change your habits and lifestyle, they only teach you how to take a pill. I have spoke with many, many people and every person that has been able to lose the weight and keep it off have all done it through healthy eating and exercise. I am sorry if this hurts anyone's feelings by me saying this, but it is the truth, the cold hard facts are this is the only way to lose it and permanently keep it off. I know I am going to have to do this forever. And if you want to do it, you have to be ready to make that commitment for a lifetime, not just until you lose the weight. If you think that way then when you have reached your goal and you go back to eating the way you were your weight is going to go right back to where it was with it. This has never been a diet to me, it has always been a new healthy lifestyle. I don't like it when people ask me what "diet" I am on, because I am not on a diet, I am living a new healthy lifestyle. It is in the way I eat, the way I exercise and even the way I think. If there is something I like to eat then I try to find the way to make it healthy or healthier. If not, then I can still have it, but it has to fit in my calorie range and I have to realize I can only have a serving of it (not two or three because it tastes soooooo good) and I can only have it today and not again tomorrow.

Anyway, I am done with my soapbox. I hope that someone wants to make the real commitment to do it or that they are inspired to try something or do something new and healthy for them. It can be done. Just do it! Now go out and make today count!

Remembering September 11th, 2001

Do you remember where you were?? I totally remember where I was. I was at work and someone came into my department and said, "A plane hit one of the twin towers." We were looking around like, "REALLY?? How could that happen?" Then few minutes later someone else said, "another plane has hit the other twin tower!" One of the ladies in my department says, "What's wrong with Air Control?" I thought, "this is NOT Air Control, this is a major problem!" So we all went running out to the breakroom to watch the TV. We couldn't believe our eyes. A short time later the third plane hit the Pentagon and they said they were evacuating the government buildings in DC. Of course, the majority of the phones were jammed and I was at work so I wasn't able to call anyone to find out if my family had any information on my sister. See, Sally worked at the Children's Defense Fund in downtown DC. We really had no idea for awhile where she was, what was going on, or where she was going. My parents finally heard from her and she was okay and was being evacuated. But everything was okay. Over the next couple of days the only thing that was on TV was the planes crashing over and over and over and over. I think for me that was the hardest part. I felt like we couldn't move on and try to find a way to start healing, we just kept reliving it over and over. I was glad when they started showing regular programming again and only spoke of it on the news. I didn't think we should forget about it, but we needed to learn how to live our lives with the hightened security and terrorist threats. We needed to learn how to deal with this. I think we have done a great job.

In 2005, we went to NYC over the September 11th weekend. We went with my sisters, Laura and Sally and their husbands, Marvin and Max. Sunday was September 11th, the families were there reading the names of those that were killed. It is hard to explain the way we felt when we were there, at Ground Zero, while the names are being read. There were several friends and firefighters and police men that were there or who had lost people. There was one man in a little corner of the fence just sobbing. It was so heart breaking. My brother in law, Max took this picture above. One of the beams still stood in the shape of a cross and then in the background there was a large American Flag on the building behind Ground Zero. We thought it was a beautiful picture. (Mine didn't turn out. So Max was nice enough to share.) I was in awe walking around the block. I am so grateful for the chance we had to be there on that special day. It definitely is a day that will not be forgotten. I pray that the families have found peace in their lives. I also pray that we will not have to go through that terror again.

Shopping Spree! lol

I think I told you that when I lost 50 pounds I was going to get the cricut (a scrapbook cutting system). Well, we know that I met the 50 pound lost awhile ago but I still haven't gotten it.

But the first part of August I decided I was going to do the cricut thing and Michaels was having a sale for the cartridges for $40 each. AND if you bought 3 of them you got Design Studio for free!!! So I decided to do it. Well, I knew I had until the end of the month to submit the rebate to get the design studio. So on 8/31 I submitted the rebate online but then it said that it had to be postmarked by 9/1.....uuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh, CRAP!!! 8/31 was Sunday and 9/1 was Labor Day. OH MAN!!!!!! I was so mad at myself because it had been on my list for a couple of days and I had just been lazy and not taken the time to do it. So I was ticked at myself. But I sent it anyway on 9/2 with a note asking them to please accept it since 9/1 was a holiday. So yesterday when I went through my emails there was one from the cricut people and it gave me my code to get the Design Studio!!!! I WAS STOKED!!!!!!!! WOOHOO, WOOHOO, WOOHOO!!!!

Now just to get my cricut. So I had decided earlier in the week that today was going to be the day to get my cricut and also the outfit I was supposed to get when I hit 190 lbs. So after dropping Tye off at Pre-K I went on a shopping spree!! LOL Not really, but sort of! I tried on a couple of black pants for work, but since there was no elastic in the waist they just pooched in the back and looked dumb. I also tried on a pair of jean capris and they fit. Size, get this, Size 16/18!!!!! WOOHOO!!! Another bonus! I have gone from a 22/24 to a 16/18! YES!! They were a tiny bit snug, not that they looked bad, but they felt snug, but I bet if I lose only 3 more pounds they will be perfect. So YIPEE! I also tried on some shirts and found one that was also a 16/18! Feeling good!!!

So then off to the scrapbook area. I picked up my cricut, put it in the cart and got a few other groceries. I go up to the check out and the guy rings everything up and I am looking at the credit card machine that also gives you the running total and it says Cricut "You saved $84.00". So my thought was oh they have been on sale for awhile then. But then I looked up at the price screen thing, the one all cash registers have, the black and green one and it says Cricut $100.00! I looked back at the credit card machine and read the whole line and it says "Was 184.00. You saved $84.00" I was like WHAT?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? I asked the cashier and he said, "yep, that's what it rang up as." I looked at the guy behind me and I said, "that's a better price than the day after Thanksgiving sale!" (My scrapbooking friend got hers there the day after Thanksgiving last year or the year before I am not sure, and paid $119.) Anyway, the cashier guy says, "You got Christmas today!!" I said, "Maybe I should go back and buy some other things!" lol I thought I was stoked before! Now I was doing the happy dance!! Oh yeah, can you see it??? Yep doing the happy dance!! ROFL!

I am feeling lucky. Maybe I should play the lottery!! lol Nah, I better the save the money I just saved! lol

Chess from the eyes of a 4 year old

Many of you know Kevin LOVES chess. So of course he has to teach Tye the correct names and ways that the pieces move and where they sit. They go over it and over it and over it. lol One day I was on the computer and they were sitting there going over the pieces. Kevin asks Tye, "what is this piece?" To which he responds, "a knight." I then pipe in and say, "a night? like honkshoo, honkshoo?" (the sound you make when you pretend sleep...lol...sorry don't know how to spell it! lol) Tye looks at Kevin and he shakes his head and says, "no like Knight in shining armor". Tye looked at him quizzically and he had to show him a Knight in shining armor (we had a picture on a sword he got in church one day). So anyway, they continue going over the pieces and a couple of minutes later they get back to the knight and Kevin asks "what is this piece?" And Tye says, "KNIGHT!" To which I again say, "a night? like honkshoo, honkshoo?" Tye answers this time and says, "no, like knight in shining ARM", pointing to his arm!! ROFL!!! I cracked up!! It still makes me crack up! So don't forget ladies, we want a knight in shining arm to come and sweep us off our feet!! Cause you know, we can't have the whole suit, just the arm shining!!! ROFL!!

Oh and so you know these pictures were not taken on the day this story happened. This incident happened several months ago, but I am just now blogging about it. I figured I better start writing down his funny things before we forget them or they don't get written anywhere. The pictures were taken on Monday evening.

Mamma Mia! Lover

Hi my name is Michele and I love Mamma Mia! lol

I remember as a kid loving to listen to ABBA. My mom loved them and would listen to them quite often. She used to tell me that my favorite song as a kid was Nina, Pretty Ballerina and I would dance around the house every time it came on. Unfortunately I don't think it was that popular of a song because it isn't on any of their newest greatest hits DVDs. So sad, because I would love a copy of it. Guess if I want to listen to it I have to go to Youtube! lol But I love a ton of ABBA songs and listen to them all the time!

Anyway, that was kindof off the topic so back to the topic of Mamma Mia! In June of 2002 we went to the UK for a trip with my sisters and their husbands. We were all coming from several different places and at different times. So Kevin and I were in London by ourselves for a few days and one of the things we did while there was go see Mamma Mia! We absolutely LOVED it! I am not sure if you have heard the commerials for the Broadway Mamma Mia but they talk about people "dancing in the isles". It really is true. Not DURING the show, but at the end when they do the curtain call people were dancing and singing and having a great time. I knew I had to have the CD so I bought it when the show was over. I listen to it all the time! I love to listen to it while I am cleaning because it gets me moving! A year or so later it came to Tampa and we went again. And then once more when it came after that. In fact, one of the times we went in Tampa a guy sitting next to us said, "you must have seen this before, you know all the words to the songs." Well I had seen it before, but they are popular Abba songs so I would know the words!! lol I just told him we saw it in London and also in Tampa. hehehe It is one of my favorite musicals (along with Wicked and Into the Woods)!

Here is the link to the broadway show. http://www.mamma-mia.com/ Definitely a must see!

So when I saw that it was going to be made into a movie I was stoked!! I really wanted to go as soon as it came out, I knew the day and everything, BUT life happens. Between Kevin's internship, work, sleep, my work, and Tye, (since I was not going to take him to a movie he wasn't even going to like and pay over $6.00 for it! I don't think so!! lol) I was not able to go until August 28th. But of course, I loved it! I was so glad I was able to go, even if I did have to go by myself because the only time I could go was while Tye was in school and Kevin could be home to pick him up from school. I am definitely going to by the DVD when it come out so I can see it whenever I want! lol If you like Meryl Streep or Pierce Brosnan (yes they both sing in it! Quite interesting! lol) then you definitely have to see it!

Here is the movie website. http://www.mammamiamovie.com/
If you have seen either one I would love to hear what you think of it! Please leave a comment on my blog.

Disney again 090108

So we had one day left on our Play 4-days passes from March and it was going to expire on the 16th of this month, so this was the ONLY day really available for all of us. We thought oh boy, there are going to be some serious crowds, but it will be fun any way. So Kevin had to work Sunday night, then he came home at took about a 1 hour nap and at 7:30am we left for Disney. I drove and Kevin napped.

We got there shortly after 8:30, got parked and were on our way into the park. They had it all decorated for Halloween already. It was so cute. Here are a few pictures of the decorations.

As usual, we went straight to Tomorrowland and hit Buzz Lightyear first (twice). I love it when you get there early and you can just walk right onto rides without the hour long line/wait! Then we decided to take Tye on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority and Tye was freaking out in the dark. I took some pictures and couldn't stop laughing his face was hilarious. Here they are:

After that we hit the race cars. Tye is actually a great driver, he wanted to go with Daddy of course. They even gave him an "Official Speedway License". He thought he was hot stuff!

Then he wanted to go to Toontown, but we decided to hit the teacup on the way. Boy am I glad we did! When the group before us got off and while we were waiting to get on the ride, we realized that here come Alice and the Madd Hatter. They get into a teacup! Well there were at least 3 other families in front of us so I thought for sure we would never get a teacup by them. But the other people totally went to the right and Alice was on the left. So we beelined it to the green teacup, which is what Tye wanted to ride in. We got the teacup right next to them. They of course immediately began waving and trying to talk to Tye. He, unfortunately, decided to try to hide. But then he would peek his head out to look at them like he was trying to play peek-a-boo or something! I thought that was the coolest thing! I mean how many people get to say they rode the character's ride with them (or even next to them?!) I have never seen the characters ride any of the rides, I figured they were always too busy getting their pictures taken to ride the rides! I tried to get them in the pics of us on the ride, I only got one or two and they aren't that great of Tye or them! lol Oh well.

Next we did the Toontown thing. We went to see Mickey and Minnie and Tye acted like a goober! lol He hid all over the place, last time he was totally cool with the characters and would at least give them a high five or a hug, but not this time. He was being shy. Thanks for the nice pics son! lol Doesn't he look happy?! lol

One of Tye's other favorite rides was the Winnie the Pooh ride. We went on it twice, using a fast pass both times. For those of you who don't know what a fast pass is, you use your ticket to get another ticket for a specific ride and a set time frame (usually about an hour later or so). Then during the time frame, say 12:30-1:30, you go back and get in the fast pass line, which usually only has 1 or 2 other people in it. And skip basically right to the front of the line! It is really cool! (Make sure you use it next time you go to Disney!) We used these for every ride that had a wait time of more than 10 minutes. I just thought his face was so cute and funny in the picture, I had to add it to the blog!

Later in the day while we were walking by the castle we noticed some people looking in the grass and flowers and taking pictures. I was wondering what the heck they were doing. So me, being the nosey person I am, started looking and realized they were taking pictures of a bunny rabbit! Tye thought that was really cool and I tried to get some photos, but it was hard because he was in the bushes trying to find some food. So I got some partial pics! lol

We had lots of fun and I won't bore you with every ride we went on. But I will tell you that NO ONE was there!! lol At least not in Adventureland!! lol We walked straight onto the boat for Pirates of the Caribbean twice. NO WAIT, we literally walked straight onto the boat. Same thing happened with Jungle Cruise, the only difference is we had to wait for the boat to pull up (so what 30 seconds?). We went on Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride 3 times this way. Again, no wait. We were totally amazed. I guess everyone had their flight that afternoon and left Disney early. But really all day we had this except for Winnie the Pooh, the race cars, and Peter Pan. Everything else we waited less than 5-10 minutes. It was so weird and so fun!

Tye was adamant we went on the Liberty Bell (the paddle boat). Why he loves that as much as he does I'll never know, but we have had to go on it both times we were at Disney. So here is a picture of a boy and his boat! lol

We had dinner at the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street. It was really good. Kevin and Tye both had cheeseburgers and I had the grilled chicken with ham and swiss cheese sandwich. We had to have dessert. Kevin and I both had Sugar Free Milkshakes. They were excellent, I worried with it being sugar free it might not be good, but it was really good! And HUGE! They gave you the milkshake in the milkshake glasses and then the mixer cup along with it. Basically two milkshakes....had I known that Kevin and I would have shared one. Tye had this cute dessert called Mickeylodeon. It was a scoop of ice cream in a dish with a sugar cone on top like the sorcerer's hat. And then two grasshopper cookies as Mickey ears. It was soooooo cute! I wanted to take a picture of it, but before I got the camera out Tye had eaten one of the cookies! lol Oh well, here he is enjoying the sugar cone.

After the dinner Tye wanted to ride the race cars again. So he and Kevin went on them two more times. On the way over to Toontown again we passed the cart by the race cars. Well of course, what did it have on it? You guessed it CARS! Tye hopped out of the stroller and RAN over to the cart and grabbed Mater and Lightning McQueen! The workers all laughed and said, "Awwww!" He was so cute. We decided on a set of three cars. Mater, Lightning McQueen and Sally. He was so happy he hugged them all the way to the next ride! lol
Then two more times on the airplane roller coaster. The final request Tye had was to go "through the castle". So we did. He thought it was "pretty". :-)

We were exhausted by the time we left. I asked Tye to close his eyes and sleep on the way home. He did not fight me one bit (not that he ever does) but I am sure he was asleep before we even got onto the freeway! I am so glad we went again especially today. We had a wonderful time and it was a much needed get away from the daily crazy not seeing each other life we have right now! Too bad we couldn't have stayed longer. But we made the most of it for sure! What a great day!
