Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 121312

We decided to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for my birthday this year.

We were super excited because they just opened the new Fantasyland the first weekend in December.  We headed there first and went on the new Under the Sea Ariel ride.  Tye did not want to stand in line because it said it was going to be a 40 minute wait.  (He is so spoiled now that we have the season passes and usually go on the days that are not busy at all so he hates waiting in a line much more than about 15 mins! lol)  We convinced him to wait it out and luckily we did because we actually only waited about 10 mins! It was really cute, you ride in a clam shell and basically get to see the whole Little Mermaid movie.

Then we headed over to Belle's Enchanted Tales. It was sooo cool! You start out in Maurice's house and see his inventions. There is one that is not his invention, it is the mirror The Beast gives him so he can see Belle anytime he wants. The mirror is on the wall and then all of a sudden it starts lengthening and then the mirror disappears. It was so weird! It really was like magic! (Kindof like the glass in Harry Potter, one minute it was there, then the next it was gone! lol) Once inside the room, you are asked to help retell the story of when Belle and the Beast meet. All the kids become actors and a few adults too. The Disney worker asked Tye to be the Beast, but he said no, even with begging from me (none of the other boys would do it either). He did agree to be Maurice behind the bars in the jail! lol Then she got all the other actors for the play. After that she said she still didn't have a beast and asked Tye again. He agreed but said, "only if my dad is Maurice". lol So both the boys were in the play.  Tye was so adorable.  Here are the two videos of him in the play.

Can you believe how cute he is?!?!?!  However, I think he was scared to death.  But secretly thought it was the coolest thing ever! lol  I was so proud of him!

Throughout the night any time we got cold, or passed a place with food, we stopped in and got our free hot cocoa and cookies! lol  We had way more than we should have! hahaha

Just about every time we go to Disney we have to get a pin.  So we went in search of a Christmas Party pin.  Well while looking at the pins Tye sees this one that has Minnie in a bathrobe with a cup of coffee and a newspaper.  He says "Mom, you should get this one."  I looked at him weird and said, "Why? I don't drink coffee or read the newspaper in the morning."  He said, "no because she's exhausted just like you." LOL There was a lady standing next to us, who heard this conversation and started laughing out loud!  I said to Tye, "welcome to the life of being a mother."  I did not buy the pin. lol

We watched the fireworks and then watched the Christmas parade.  Tye is not a fan of parades for some reason (I think he hates waiting for them to start), but he thought it was a really cool parade.  Here we are waiting for it to start.
His expressions are always so priceless.  It makes me so happy to see him having a great time.
These soldiers were so stinkin' amazing!  We loved their formations and dancing!
Hehehehe here is his face when he realized that Santa was coming!  He was so shocked! lol

My guys with the cool Mickey shaped "wreaths" on the light poles.  Everything is decorated so neat.  What a great night!
Everyone has to have at least one of these photos! lol
We were so tired by the time we got home, but what an excellent night!  We are so glad we were able to go.
