March 5th--Today we went to the Strawberry Festival. It is like a county fair. We had sooo much fun!! Tye said his favorite thing was the HUGE slide! He went on it probably close to 10 times!! lol Thank heavens we bought the wristbands. Last time we went to a "fair/carnival" we only had $30 to spend. We didn't know what he would like to do and so we just bought some tickets, well we ran out of tickets and money before he was tired of riding the slide. I cried because he wanted to ride that and some of the others so badly and we had to tell him no. So I vowed if we decided to go again we would plan ahead and save money so we could buy the wristbands. So that is what we did today. We rode so many rides, the teacups, the ferris wheel. Tye rode the two trains several times. We also rode the carousel. We had tons of fun and the time went by so quickly. For dinner Tye had a hot dog and Kevin and I decided on a cheeseburger. Later in the evening we all split an elephant ear and a strawberry shortcake. Kevin and I were talking as we walked past all the food stands and he said to me, "it's a good thing you are here or I would go from booth to booth buying a little of everything!" I said, "I know, I kindof want to too, but we have come so far to mess it up now." So we just kept walking. We were tired puppies when we got home. We had gone there around 3pm and got home around 9pm. But we definitely had a great time and I did not feel bad because we were able to go on everything he wanted to!
