Valentines' Day Cookies 021409

On Valentines' Day we made our usual cookies! I love making cookies for each holiday as that is what my mom did with me growing up. It is lots of fun so that is a tradition we carry on. However, I do try to keep it semi under control so we aren't making 5 dozen cookies or anything and then what, we have to eat them all?! No, usually about 2 dozen I would say and Tye eats most of them! lol

He LOVES helping bake and make cookies and muffins and whatever else I am cooking. So we had fun.

I am not sure if you can tell but he has a pretty cute look on his face, not to mention the flour all over it!!! lol

Then I took out the frosting and after I scooped it Kevin said he wanted a spoonful to eat I told him to go get a spoon. He turned around with this GIANT spoon! I told him NO WAY! I made him put it back and get a small teaspoon! lol

OH YEAH Taste Test Time!!! They are gooooooooood!!!!

Here they are--see only about 2 dozen (I am sure we only had eaten 1 each so definitely under the 2 dozen cookies mark). Good thing because even as it was I was glad when they were gone, no more temptation! lol

Fun times! Glad we can do things together as a family!
