Dinosaur World 040108 (No foolin')

On April Fool's Day we went to Dinosaur World. Tye loved it! We saw all sorts of huge dinosaurs.

He was able to do a fossil dig in which he got to keep the items he found! He found two shark's teeth and a plant fossil. He didn't care so much about that, he just enjoyed digging in the sand!

There is also another place to dig in the sand called the "Boneyard". They were supposed to "uncover" dinosaur bones just like a real paleontologist would. Tye never got it though, I kept trying to explain to him that he was supposed to uncover the bones, not cover them up! lol Oh well, he had fun, but we finally had to leave and move on to something else because he was making the other kids mad (they were a group of homeschool kids that were there on a field trip). The final thing was someone was digging and threw a whole shovel full of sand in his face (not on purpose, but he was shocked to say the least!)

Tye a couple of times acted as our tour director and told us which way to go (while looking at the map)--it was so funny! Kevin had a good time as he is a dinosaur lover from youth.

Tye played on the playground and we ate lunch while we were there. It was really nice, there was lots of shade which was good because it was quite warm that day. We smashed a penny as we were leaving and Tye got 6 mini dinosaurs. We were very tired when we left and all came home and crashed.
