WOOHOO!!!! GO RAYS!!!
The Tampa Bay Rays just beat the Boston Red Sox to go to the World Series!! This is VERY exciting for our team because they have been in existance since 1998. However, they have never even had a winning season before this one! This is their first time to the playoffs and definitely the first time to the World Series! What a great series we had. I was TICKED when they were up 7-0 in the 5th game and then ended up losing 7-8 (I was especially mad cause I had gone to the potty and came back to a 7-4 game!! YIKES! That will teach me not to go potty during a game again! lol) This was an up and down battle but I am sure glad it ended out on top!
Oh and let me address this, NO I am not a bandwagon fan. I also have not been a fan ever. In fact, I don't really even like baseball (sorry GrandmaL). BUT how can you have a local team on their way to the World Series and not cheer them on??? So although I am not a "fan" I certainly am going to be cheering for them to win! The World Series starts on Wednesday night! GO RAYS!
