Mother's Day 051009

I started out Mother's Day by sleeping in until about 9:30 I think. It felt great! Then Kevin had made breakfast. A quiche with sausage, onions and tomatoes in it (if you know me, you know I hate tomatos...I think he was making this breakfast for himself and not for me!!! lol), if he would have been making it for me he would have included mushrooms and not tomatos! lol OH WELL, it still tasted really good, just had to pick out the tomatos! lol

Then after breakfast Tye decided he wanted to take a picture of me. Now this is the first time Tye has ever even attempted to take a picture or seem interested in being the photographer. So I figured what the heck, go for it. Here is his first attempt! :-)

And his second attempt (must have been beginners luck!!! ROFL!) A little low....guess he is getting some pictures to show how much weight I have lost!!! lol Good boy! lol

And his third attempt!! Pretty good I think! Although they are a little blurry since he doesn't quite know how to hold the camera still and push the button at the same time. :-)

Daddy got Mommy a backup EHD so she could make sure she had a backup for her digital scrapbooking kits in case something ever happened to her main EHD she would have a backup and not have lost all of her great kits! Thanks Daddy! Just what I wanted!!! :-) (Because I told him! lol)

We went to church and the kids sang the Grandmother song and also Mommy, I Love you. They did sign language to the "Mommy, I Love You, I Love You, I Do"! It turned out great and I think the mommies really liked it!

After church we went to Oma and Opa's house. Opa was in charge of dinner and so we had sandwiches (or wraps), Potato salad and cake (without frosting, because that is how Opa likes it). Why is it these men make for Mother's Day what THEY like and not what the MOTHERs like????? lol Too funny! But it was still good, so I can't complain too loudly! hehehe :-)
