Garden is growing! 03/02/11

Just 3 short days after we planted our garden our radishes came up! I forgot to take pictures, so you will have to settle for the ones from about a week and a half after we planted! lol Everything is up! Some more than others, but they are all shooting up and we are finding more leaves all the time! It makes both Tye and I very excited!

Here are the peas! (Sorry for all the leaves in there, in Florida the leaves fall in February and March, not in the fall as normal places do! lol I promise to clean them out before the next set of pictures are taken! lol
Oh and sorry that you have to try to find the sprouts through the cage. But it is too large for Tye and I to lift high enough to go over the tomato plant which has probably doubled in size (you will see it below), he is just too short. With that said, can you make out the 3 sets of lettuce? One will have to be pulled out because we put two seeds in each hole to make sure at least one of them sprouted. Hoping the other two holes sprout soon.

Here is square #2 of lettuce, as you can see, there are three sets of lettuce sprouted, again the doubles will have to be pulled out, just waiting for one more hole to sprout.

These are our radishes! Look how big the tops are getting!! And almost all of them have sprouted! I think of the 16 we are only waiting for 1-2 more to sprout! It's almost time to plant another square of them!

Here are our carrots! They are sprouting nicely! We are waiting for a lot more, but they are coming along too!

And the tomato plant, see, I told you it has probably almost doubled in size! It is getting big! I am going to have to go buy the tomato cage for it soon or else it is going to topple over! lol

The whole garden! Can't wait until it is REALLY green! :-)
