The Book It! program is still going strong from when I was a kid. Although it is different, I don't remember exactly how it worked when I was a kid, but if I recall we had a list for our grade level of specific books we had to read. For every book we read we got a little star sticker to put on our Book It! pin. Once the pin was full we got to cash it in for a personal pan pizza. Now, it doesn't really work that way. Now the kids have to read each night to get it...well I am not sure what the exact criteria is, meaning not sure how many days they can miss and still qualify to get it. I know that we don't do as well at reading on the weekend so he usually misses 1-2 days a week and still gets it almost every month.
So this day we were determined to go. When we got there we found out not only could you get just the personal pan pizza, but you could get the buffet instead! Well since we were on our way to Bella's party we decided to do just the personal pan pizza. I had a slice and Tye ate the rest. It was super yummy!
