Tye's Pre-K Graduation 060409

Tye is graduating from Pre-K!!!! He has done awesome and his teacher is really impressed with how well he has improved! They had a great little ceremony for the kids. It turned out terrific! Thank you Oma and Opa for coming (even though we didn't get any pictures of you). Tye was very happy that you came to share in his special day with him!

This was the pledge of allegience. Tye was looking around for us and glad when he saw us (even though he knew where we were sitting! lol)

Dance recital. The two on the end are Lexi and Haleigh, the twins in Tye's class.

They all did so well!!

After the dance numbers, they had each class come up and sing some cute songs. There was one boy that when they sang "You've Got A Friend In Me" was just belting it out!!! SOOOOOO adorable!!! I have a DARLING video of Tye's class singing their song, but it is WAY to big to post on blogger. BOOHOO :-( But here is a short video of the before they started singing! lol

Then they had the graduation ceremony with Pomp and Circumstance playing even!! Tooooo cute! They were so adorable in their tiny little cap and gowns! I must admit I got a little teary eyed, but not too bad! lol

Jaden, who was in Tye's class, but had to move to the morning class because it worked better with his dad's work schedule. The kids love it when they get to see him!

Then they had a little pot luck after the ceremony was over. The food looked and smelled really good but unfortunately we ended up being one of the last people to go through the line so some of it was pretty much gone (including my dish, which I was planning on eating since it was pretty healthy--no one even knew it...in fact, I got several compliments on what a good cook I was or how great it tasted! lol) I think I did really well with my eating. I controlled my portions and only had a little bit of dessert! I didn't even drink the punch, I had water instead!

We had a wonderful night. It was very hard to say goodbye, even for us parents to the others. The three of us families, (Tye, Lexi/Haleigh, and Bryson's), closed the place down! lol We were talking, the kids were playing. It was a nice night and we were the last families to leave. We hope to all get together next month (after people return from vacations) and have a play date for all of them! Should be fun.

On the way home Tye started to cry and tells me, "I miss Bryson. I miss Lexi Haleigh. I miss Alex." lol It was too cute.

Congrats Tye Tye!!! You did it, you graduated from Pre-K. Next year you will go to Kindergarten. I bet you will do so well!!! Love you buddy!
