Kevin made me an omlette for breakfast. I decided I wanted to eat with my boys so I chose to sit at the kitchen table as opposed to having them bring it to me on a tray in bed. :-) lol
We have 9am church, so we hurried and got lunch in the crockpot (Kevin's Mom always says "I'm not cooking on Mother's Day". So usually Kevin's Dad will get sandwiches or make hamburgers on the grill or something. I requested burgers on the grill, but he didn't want to do that. Kevin had tried to coordinate with him a couple of times and he kept saying they weren't doing anything. I felt bad so I kept asking Kevin, "so what we aren't going to eat that day????" Finally Kevin decided he would take on lunch and make something in the crockpot. So he hunted the freezer and asked what we could make in the crockpot with pork chops. I gave him the recipe I usually do and then Sunday morning with my help he got it put in the crockpot to cook while we were at church.)
Then we took a few pictures. Daisy is a little crazy when it comes to sitting on your lap at first she wants to give lots of loves! lol
But then she settles down and will lay there nicely.
After church, we got the crockpot and headed to Kevin's parent's for lunch. We gave Kevin's mom her Mother's Day present. Which from the look of it, she was super surprised and loved it! :-)
Here are the roses that Kevin got for me. I love the multi-tone roses, they are my favorite. I prefer the fushia and pink ones the best, but these yellow and pink ones are nice too. :-)
I had to put them in two vases because our vases are either too large for a dozen roses and they flop to the side, or two small for all of them to fit in one. Maybe Kevin can get me a good vase for Mother's Day next year! lol (Or maybe our anniversary since that comes first! lol)
Later in the day Kevin and Tye gave me their cards and "The Walk" a book by Richard Paul Evans, my favorite author! Love it!!!Thanks guys for a great day!
