My First Haircut 4/22/10

Yes, I have had my hair cut before. No, it is not the first time we have had Tye's haircut either. lol A few weeks ago I decided I was going to give it a try at cutting Tye and Kevin's hair. So Mary and I headed off to Sally's Beauty Supply and despite the extremely rude worker there, I came home with a pair of scissors and a set of razors.

Tonight after dinner, I went to work on Tye's hair. I figure I have watched enough haircuts, I can do at least a decent job, no worse than some of the ones that we end up paying $10 for! lol So first I razored the back and then blended it in with the scissors on the tops and sides.

Then I cleaned up his ears with the razor again.
The finished product. I did it!!! Mary said I did a really good job for my first time!!! Maybe it is in the blood (my mom was a licensed beautician).

Now to talk Kevin into letting me at him! lol I keep telling him "what's the worst thing that can happen??? We have to shave the whole thing off at a 1 1/2 clip?? Didn't you do that anyway a few years ago before we went to Park City, UT on vacation?!" Yeah I think I have him convinced! lol
